By using RepoLore, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of the Service
RepoLore is a read-only tool that investigates the history of public GitHub code and returns evidence-backed explanations. It does not modify repositories or execute repository code.
3. Eligibility
You may use the service only if you can form a binding agreement under applicable law and comply with these Terms.
4. Public Repositories and Third-Party Content
The current service is limited to public GitHub repositories. Third-party repository content remains subject to its owners' rights, licenses, and terms.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the repository references and requests you provide, and for reviewing results before taking any action.
6. Acceptable Use
Do not use RepoLore unlawfully, to interfere with the service, to evade rate limits or access controls, or to submit secrets, credentials, or sensitive personal information.
7. GitHub Terms and Repository Licenses
Your use of GitHub content through RepoLore must comply with GitHub's terms and the applicable repository license.
8. Intellectual Property
RepoLore and its original materials are owned by Dmitrii Sergeev or applicable licensors. You retain rights in information you provide, subject to third-party rights.
9. No Guarantee of Accuracy
Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, or based partly on inference. Confirmed facts and inferences should be evaluated separately.
10. Code-Change and Removal Risk
RepoLore cannot guarantee that code is safe to remove, rewrite, or change. You are solely responsible for review, testing, deployment, and consequences of your decisions.
11. Service Availability and Changes
The service may be changed, paused, or discontinued. Availability is not guaranteed.
12. Suspension or Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RepoLore is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dmitrii Sergeev will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss arising from use of or inability to use RepoLore.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
